FFL & NFA Transfers
Contact us to confirm and begin a transfer process.
Before initiating the transfer process, it’s essential to get in touch with Armored Boar Gunworks LLC to inform them about your intention to transfer a firearm. You can reach out to them via phone (254) 598-1001 or email armory@armoredboargunworks.com to discuss the details of the transfer and any specific requirements they may have.
Step 2: Gather Required Information
To facilitate the transfer process, we will need to gather some essential information, including:
- Your personal details (name, address, contact information)
- Details of the firearm you intend to transfer (make, model, serial number)
- Any pertinent documentation related to the firearm (purchase receipt, ownership documents)
Having this information readily available will streamline the transfer process and ensure everything moves smoothly.
Step 3: Arrange for Firearm Shipment
Once you’ve coordinated with Armored Boar Gunworks LLC and gathered all the necessary information, you’ll need to arrange for the shipment of the firearm to their location. Ensure that you comply with all federal and state laws regarding the shipping of firearms to avoid any legal complications.
Step 4: Visit Armored Boar Gunworks LLCÂ for Background Check
Once the firearm has been delivered to our location, you will need to visit Armored Boar Gunworks LLC to complete the transfer process. Below are the fees for the transfer:
- The transfer fee for Non-NFA items is $25.00 per item.
Below NFA pricing and fingerprinting info only relates to NFA Regulated items
- The transfer fee for NFA items is $60.00 per item.
- EFT Fingerprints for NFA Transfers are an additional $40.00 per calendar year. (We purge them Jan. 1 each year)
- We do offer Fingerprint Services for Form 1 applications. There is a $40.00 fee on the first set of prints submitted annually and a $25.00 fee throughout that year. Form 1 EFT additions are done in store only.
No Transferrable MGs will be accepted.
  Â
EFT Fingerprinting CAN help speed up NFA approval times and minimize your wait times. Though we can not guarantee an exact time frame, we have seen as low as only a couple of days.
During your visit, you will undergo the required background check as per Texas state law. Once the background check is completed, and all necessary paperwork is processed, the firearm will be transferred to you legally.
Step 5: Complete Transfer Paperwork
Before leaving Armored Boar Gunworks LLC premises, ensure that you complete all necessary paperwork related to the firearm transfer. This may include filling out a transfer form, providing identification, and signing any required documents.
Step 6: Take Possession of the Firearm
Once all paperwork is completed and the background check has been approved, you will be able to take possession of the transferred firearm. If you are delayed on the background check for any reason, you will be notified once we have the approval and can schedule another day to pick up your firearm.Â
